Paula Bell provides specialist dyslexia tuition and bespoke individual study skills for learners of all ages.

Paula can come to your home to provide a tailored programme of support.

Together with catering for those with specific difficulties, she is able to provide highly effective, tried and tested study skills for all learners. Offering both specialist dyslexia tuition and GCSE revision skills and techniques within the Berkshire area, she expertly designs and delivers tailored support for students with specific difficulties or those facing the challenges of external examinations.

Paula is a highly experienced specialist teacher with a fifteen year track record of supporting and enabling learners to achieve academic success. She has a wealth of current experience in the independent educational sector and is equally skilled at meeting the needs of primary, secondary and even adult learners.

About Paula...

Paula is a qualified specialist teacher. Having completed an Honours degree in English at the University of Stirling, she then went on to gain a specialist qualification from the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, the UK's largest and most respected institution for identifying and assessing dyslexia at all ages.

With a passionate interest in using high calibre software to support learning, she has developed her skills and expertise to enable her to carefully and successfully meet the needs of each individual learner.

Her approach is firmly based around the principle that everyone can 'learn how to learn' by discovering more about themselves, the challenges they face, and how best to overcome them.

Paula continues to research and broaden her knowledge and is currently involved in the design of a series of board games to promote spelling skills at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
