Why Assess?
Prior to beginning any teaching programme there is the option to undertake a range of detailed assessments, although this may not be necessary in all instances. Detailed assessments can help to identify areas of strength and weakness, as well as providing important information about individual learning needs prior to formulating specific courses of action.
What types of assessment are there?

- current levels of literacy attainments
- Every dyslexic is an individual with their own learning challenges, so a diverse and broad range of assessments are available.
